Providers do not receive the right to approve, suppress or purchase a rating. Commercial compensation does not enter score calculations or publication decisions.
Product-level scope
We review exact products, legal entities and jurisdictions. A brand-level statement does not automatically transfer to every app, wallet, exchange or regional entity carrying that brand.
Sourcing and attribution
Material claims are linked to the best available source and given a verification date. Provider claims are attributed when independent evidence is unavailable.
Testing
Hands-on testing will follow predefined scenarios and record time, jurisdiction, product surface, asset, amount, visible quote, fees, spread, network cost, amount received and elapsed time.
Ratings
Ratings use the published category-specific methodology. Editors may withhold a score when critical evidence is missing or a material safety event remains unresolved.
Conflicts and disclosure
Relevant employment, ownership, compensation or provider relationships must be disclosed. Employees, contractors, partners and competitors cannot submit undisclosed community reviews.
