Digital asset loss
Digital assets are volatile, operationally complex and exposed to fraud, technical failure and regulatory change. You may lose all capital committed to a product or asset.
VERAQUORUM provides editorial research. It does not provide investment, legal, tax or financial advice.
Custodial platform risk
When assets remain on a centralized platform, the operator typically controls the account infrastructure and associated private keys. Users may face hacks, withdrawal pauses, freezes, enforcement restrictions, operational failure or insolvency.
Registration or licensing can define permitted activity and supervision. It is not a guarantee of solvency, performance or recovery.
Self-custody wallet risk
Self-custody means the user controls the credentials needed to authorize transactions. Lost recovery material may permanently remove access. Malicious approvals, phishing, address errors and vulnerable contracts can move assets irreversibly.
Anyone asking for a seed phrase, private key or password should be treated as a threat.
Proof of reserves limits
Proof of reserves may show control of certain assets at a point in time. It does not necessarily include all liabilities, related-party obligations, borrowed assets, offchain balances or the controls tested in a financial statement audit.
VERAQUORUM never labels proof of reserves as proof of solvency.
Jurisdiction and availability
A brand can operate through multiple legal entities and offer different products across countries or states. Website access does not prove that registration, trading, rewards, derivatives or custody are lawfully available to a particular user.
Always verify the exact contracting entity and local regulator before acting.
Our product boundary
VERAQUORUM does not hold funds, connect wallets, execute trades or recover assets. We never ask for seed phrases, private keys, passwords, one-time codes, full identity records or banking credentials.
